Cushman & Wakefield appoints Simon Fenn to lead NSW Commercial Real Estate business

Cushman & Wakefield, has today announced it has significantly strengthened its commercial real estate platform with the appointment of Simon Fenn as Managing Director of the New South Wales agency business.
As well as leading Cushman & Wakefield’s business in New South Wales, Simon will leverage significant capital transactions expertise to support the ongoing growth of the Capital Markets business and working alongside senior members of the team including Josh Cullen, Rick Butler, Mark Hansen, Steve Kearney and Luke Etherington in Victoria.
Simon joins Cushman & Wakefield from Savills Australia where he held the position of Managing Director of New South Wales and was a member of the Savills Australia board. In this role, Simon was instrumental in growing Savills agency business and managing a team of almost 400 staff.
Simon has over 25 years’ experience in the commercial property sector and has been the forefront of many of Sydney’s largest transactions representing a range of institutional landlords and investors. This includes Blackstone’s sale of 275 Kent Street to ISPT for $860 million, managing the sale of 40 Mount Street, North Sydney, for Primerica and the sale of the 50% interest in MLC Centre on behalf of GPT.
This appointment forms part of Cushman & Wakefield’s strategy to expand its presence in New South Wales and build on other recent senior hires.
