On Thursday 16th November 2017, the Cushman & Wakefield team joined over 500 attendees at the Annual REA Excellence Awards in Melbourne, Australia. The awards recognise and celebrate excellence in the property and media industries and the judging panel consisted of 17 independent professionals who are experts in their field.
With a total of four submissions, Cushman & Wakefield wrangled three finalist spots and with incredible delight, took home two wins for the following categories: Brand Campaign of the Year – Commercial, and Contribution to Community, Commercial.

Be What’s Next
The brand campaign submission highlighted Cushman & Wakefield Australia’s recent brand positioning revamp – Be What’s Next. This positioning has been integrated throughout each business line within the business and since introduction, has been adopted by Cushman & Wakefield in the Asia Pacific region. This submission was driven by Anna Town (Head of Strategic Marketing, Australia and New Zealand).
Contribution to Community – Commercial
Cushman & Wakefield has been recognized for their efforts in collaborating with Jobsupport to provide opportunities to employees with intellectual impairments. This submission was championed by Ashley Palm (Client Relationship Manager, Global Occupier Services). Ashley not only enabled the business to participate in the jobsupport program and employ four wonderful staff members with intellectual impartment, he assisted Jobsupport in receiving a $350,000 grant to expand their operations in Australia.
This growing partnership with Jobsupport cements Cushman & Wakefield's commitment to diversity and inclusion, which forms part of Cushman & Wakefield's corporate social responsibility, leading from the way and being what's next in the industry.
