Leading global commercial real estate services firm, Cushman & Wakefield has further strengthened its national agency platform with the appointment of Stephen Imrie as Director Capital Markets, Victoria.
Stephen holds over two decades of property experience in both the United Kingdom and Australia, most recently as Director Institutional Sales, Knight Frank Melbourne. Stephen has completed some notable transactions in recent years, including 484 St Kilda Road Melbourne, sold August 2014 for $94 million and 40 Market Street which transacted at $46.7 million.
In his role Stephen will work closely with James Quigley, Head of Capital Markets, Australia and New Zealand and the national capital markets team. He will primarily focus on the sale of institutional grade real estate assets in Melbourne CBD and the city fringe on behalf of both domestic and offshore investors, further enhancing the Cushman & Wakefield Australian capital markets capabilities and existing platforms in Asia, USA and Europe.

Stephen’s appointment follows significant growth across Cushman & Wakefield nationally, having expanded the Australian agency team by 100 new appointments over 18 months, including the appointment of 6 senior industrial agents, 4 senior appointments in both commercial and retail asset management, and establishing the leading retail leasing team in the Melbourne market.
To accommodate the growing Melbourne footprint, Cushman & Wakefield has also recently completed the relocation of operations to Dexus Property Group’s 385 Bourke Street office in the Melbourne CBD, where the business occupies 2,500 sqm.
